Working in partnership with the International Language and Culture Association and the Thai Ministry of Education, Island TEFL has been requested to recruit, train and supply 300 English language instructors to government schools throughout Thailand.

These teaching positions will commence on an ongoing basis from 9th January through 16th May, 2012. The contract length will be for up to 12 months (5 month contracts are available upon request.)

You do not need a degree to apply. A high school diploma and being a native English speaker from the US, UK, CAN, AUS, NZ, SA or IRE with a sense of adventure is all you need. Please note that if you are a native English speaker but do not have a four year university degree (in any subject), or if you are a non-native fluent English speaker holding a degree, you cannot be guaranteed a placement offer. Based on past experience, however, your odds of being placed into a government school teaching position are still excellent. The demand for EFL teachers in Thailand far exceeds the supply.

Programme Details
120 hour TEFL Certification in Bangkok or exotic combinations of Koh Samui and Bangkok, or Phuket and Bangkok, to be completed between January 9th and May 16th.

This will be followed by an offer of a teaching placement of up to 12 months in a Thai government school commencing from 9th January through 16th May, 2012. Each eligible participant is entitled to one such offer under the terms of this program.

	A monthly salary of between 27,000 – 35,000 Thai Baht when school is in session.
	2 months holiday when school is not in session allowing you plenty of time to travel and explore.
	Opportunity to participate in paid English summer camps during the 2 holiday months.
	Complete Visa Assistance. You can qualify for a 12 month education visa and online Thai language course allowing you to stay in Thailand without costly and time consuming visa runs.
Optional Thai Culture Course Includes
	Airport transfer to your hotel.
	Transfer from your hotel to the orientation
	6 day Thai Culture and immersion course in Bangkok
	Full 6 day orientation in Bangkok. Your chance to:
	Meet many other native English speakers who will be sharing this experience with you

TEFL COURSE FEES
The fees for each of the above courses are $1,490 U.S. or 44,900 Thai Baht for the 120 hour TEFL/TESOL component.

THAI CULTURE and IMMERSION COURSE
The fees for this component of the program are $395 U.S. if combined with the Island TEFL course above.

For those that already hold an accredited TEFL certification the cost of this course is $455 U.S.
