The world is your classroom! In just 4 weeks you will be a qualified EFL/ESL teacher, prepared to begin your new adventure! The staff at Island TEFL will guide you through the process of becoming an effective, confident teacher of the English language. We don't place our trainees in an actual classroom until the 2nd week of the course, giving you lots of practice and assistance in the training centre before you "step onstage". By this time, you will be feeling very confident and secure in your abilities to deliver a fun, stimulating and effective lesson to your Thai students.
Our course is an intensive 4-week certificate TEFL course which will equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to take your first steps towards a new and exciting career in EFL/ESL teaching. Your new qualification and internationally recognised TEFL certificate will enable you to travel, live and teach in exotic locations all around the globe.

Eligibility:
- Minimum 18 years of age
- A native or fluent English speaker, with excellent skills in both spoken and written English
- Able to produce work of a high standard
- Possess an awareness of language and a competence in English, both written and spoken, that enables the course to be undertaken successfully.
- In excellent mental and physical health
- Committed, presentable and reliable
- No degree or previous teaching experience is required for the course
