Bali is the supreme Island paradise, offering something for everybody. Once you have experienced Bali you will never want to leave. If you do have to leave you will most likely want to go back, again and again and again. Such is the magic of this ultimate gem of an Island.

Bali is Indonesia’s most traveller-friendly island. Some 93% of its population is Balinese Hindu, a unique combination of Hindu and Buddhism. The Balinese will welcome you with open arms and disarm you with their friendliness and warmth. The spirit and soul of the Balinese along with their rich culture and heritage goes a long way in explaining the magnetism of this tropical paradise.

Bali is famous for its cuisine, art, dance, music and lively performing arts. It is also home to some of the most beautiful beaches on the planet.  The beaches in the North and West have black sand and to surfers’ delight, some of the biggest waves in the world. The beaches in the South are carpeted in fine powdery white sand, while those on the East coast have both black and white sand. The island is surrounded by exquisite coral reefs which allows for excellent scuba diving and snorkelling.

The Island It is also a shoppers dream and has a vibrant night-life. You can make your way around the Island by car in a day. Bali is about 150 Km (95 miles) wide and 115 Km (70 miles) from North to South. It lies very close to the equator and has two seasons. The dry season is from April to October and a short wet season from late November to March.
