Some people are under the misconception that all this fantastic Island has to offer is a party destination for party revelers. Nothing could be further from the truth. This is a relatively large Island, where you will find some of the most beautiful beaches in South East Asia. If you are looking for a tranquil place to relax, unwind and get away from everything, you need look no further. Koh Phangan is an island paradise that literally has it all!

Koh Phangan is located in the Gulf of Thailand, only 15 kilometers North of Koh Samui. It can be reached by boat from Koh Samui in around 30 minutes.

Where you will be staying during your course and placement?

To make your TEFL experience even more hassle-free and convenient, Island TEFL has sourced accommodation for each of the 2 TEFLPackage options at:

Power Beach Resort in Baan Tai, Koh Phangan
Under our included accommodation offerings, Island TEFL trainees and volunteers will share accommodation; two people per one bedroom bungalow with two single beds. Many of our trainees and volunteers choose to pay a modest accommodation surcharge so they can have their own private bungalow, with one double bed, rather than opting for shared accommodation. Accommodation prices start at 6,000 Baht per month.

Typical rooms / bungalows with a double bed / twin beds are pictured below. The bungalows are spacious, modern and include an en-suite bathroom with hot water, shower, fan or air-conditioner.
 

The facilities at Power Beach Resort include a swimming pool, restaurant, bar, spa, snooker table, motorbike/car rental and high speed Internet. The staff at Power Beach Resort are very welcoming and the atmosphere is relaxed and homely. All Island TEFL Koh Phangan trainees choose to stay at Power Beach Resort which makes for a fun social experience.

As soon as your arrival details are confirmed, the staff at Island TEFL will book your accommodation on your behalf.
